Rust'n'Dust 2022
the racetrack is from 1930, cars from 1959 and older. The Rust'n'Dust Jalopy was established in 2009 - in northern Germany. But it could be near any smalltown in the United States
Mother Road and beyond
a trip along U.S route 66 - with enough time to take a look beyond the Main Street of America.
smalltown america
getting off the interstates and driving through the american smalltows. It is a fascinating world, especially when you have a bit of time to just hang around.
roadside america
as america is a mobile nation, the roadside of it's connecting highways gets interesting. New Interstates replacing old highways are gamechangers to the roadside. Once thriving services are literally out of business and start to erode... For me, they are monuments of an automoblie nation.
in the woods
Cars in the woods - a fascinating topic. Once rolling in shiny chrome over the new Highways and Interstates, they are laid to rest now, having done their duty. It is a peaceful and quiet place, and the horns of the nearby freight trains add to this fantastic atmosphere... i could stay there forever.
just cars
you can find cars anywhere while cruising throgh the US - so here are just plain cars from anywhere.
car show
carshows are quite fascinating... watching with how much love the american car culture is celebrated. Pictures are from different Street Mag Shows - as a start. After the forced COVID pause with shows srating all over in 2022, i will get busy! Looking forward especially to the "Lowrider Day" in Santa Fe 2022!
